Autism for First Responders (1 special)

Description

Statistically first responders are 7 times more likely to have a person with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) as our patients.  This course will provide an overview of ASD and how we as first responders can alter our patient managment practices to improve outcomes for our patients.  The teaching format will be a lecture with supplemental PowerPoint.  After the completion of the class, you will be emailed a link to a quiz and survey.  After successful completion of those items, you will be emailed a CEU.  Any course participants that attend the original webcast will be able to claim Video Led Instructor Training (VLIT) or "live" training.  Any course participants that watch a recorded version of the webinar will be able to claim Distributive Learning credit.
