This course is meant to provide an introduction and awareness to pediatric tracheostomy emergencies. Basic trach knowledge and common emergencies will be discussed. We will cover the algorithm for how to troubleshoot a trach, including demonstrating an emergency trach change. The learning format will be a lecture with supplemental PowerPoint and visual demonstrations. Course participants who attend the initial webinar viewing (or in-person) will be granted Virtual-Instructor-Led-Training or "live" credit. Course participants who participate in a recorded version of the webinar (no interaction with presenter) may claim Distributed Learning credit. After participating in the Webinar, a course quiz and survey will be sent to each participant. After successful completion of those items, and CEU/CME certificate will be emailed to the participant.
