 A 30-minute review of respiratory assessment in children.

The Learner will be able to - 

  • Identify considerations when completing a respiratory assessment in children
  • Explain the “50-40-30-20” rule as it pertains to pediatric respiratory rate norms
  • Describe the normal respiratory pattern of the newborn/infant 
  • Outline questions to ask when assessing the mentation of the pediatric patient as related to development.
